If you're looking for a charming escape with stunning riverside views, the Riverside in Lechlade is an absolute gem! The larger ground floor room offered a lovely lounge and kitchen alongside cozy twin beds, making it perfect for my travel companions and me. Dinner at the pub was delightful-think fresh, tasty British cuisine paired with a superb beer selection that satisfied my inner connoisseur. And as an avid history teacher, I must mention that exploring nearby National Trust treasures like Buscot House was an absolute highlight! I can't wait to return and immerse myself in this beautiful area again.
